Politics. If of the eight serious crime categories, six have seen a decrease, then homicide must be one of the two with increases. Most crime statistics can be faked. I have seen it done many times over many years first hand. One example would be an armed robbery where a person was threatened with being shot or cut and they give up what the robber wants. The police often write it as a theft, under x number of dollars since it is only the victim’s word that there was a weapon. Cops are told to reduce crime and they are told ways to do that and to make it appear that it is happening. Also, as a side, think about this … if you fire three quarters of the police, then the number of crimes would appear to go down as there wouldn’t be enough police to take the reports. Obviously crime would be up, just not reported as such. Homicide statistics are difficult to fake as the bodies are tough to hide. So, the most serious, and most accurate crime statistic is up in Baltimore County and not down. Think about it while the big shots tell you that you that you are safe and pat each other on the back.

I just hope that 7 mile Market will take this opportunity to improve on some issues. For example just the other day, I bought some ground beef at $5.89 a pound. At the time of purchase it looked red and shiny which usually indicates it is fresh. However when I got home I broke apart the ground beef only to find it looking really disgustingly dark inside, like a brownish color. I think this borders on the side of misleading and cheating.

Just read about your participation in the AIPAC Reception and Briefing in Ft Lauderdale, Fl on 4/27/2010. I plan on attending. Am trying to track down a Gordis who was in my bunk at Camp Massad around 1943 and 44. He would have been about 13 to 15 years old at that time. He taught me how to play chess. I believe he was the son of Robert Gordis and perhaps is your father. I am a close friend of the Simon Greenberg family. Moshe Greenberg was a classmate and we are still in contact with each other. Looking forward to your reply and to meeting you on 4/27.

Several people at work said you must boil the water when it is restored but not up to normal pressure.

This would be use full info to put on the web sight to get a quick yes or no to this story & save some phone calls like I made.
There is no info. about this was on the internet.

They are lying to us. I saw helicopters flying over the area in question as early as Friday afternoon around 11:30 am. They -public works- knew something was going on, but are unwilling to admit it. 1.3 million gallions does not drain that quickly, plus there are alarms on these tanks that indicate when they are getting low… It would be folly to think that both tanks drained at the same rate, would it not? One tank is the main, and the other is a back-up… Hmmm…

It is great to have bigger room instead of bumping into people to our destination! I will expect that the price may be higer as the store is bigger and bigger bills!

Please ask the owner if the new location will cause prices to be higher since their rent will be higher and will it cause shelf life to increase sacrificing quality and freshness.

i think this move sounds great. lots of space, wider aisles, more parking. what’s not to like? the 7MM space should be taken by A to Z. they could really use a bigger space themselves, w/ much better parking. one can always hope. bottom line, though, baltimore is clearly growing, and i wish 7MM much hatzlacha in their new venture.

So, now give the old place to some caterer to open a wedding hall! The New School in Cong. Iran can move in for the AM, or it can be rented out as a roller rink during Sefira and the 3 weeks. The options are endless! Think of the possabilites.
