Open Letter from President & Chairman of the JCC of Greater Baltimore

Saturday Openings
at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC
will begin on June 6, 2009

Dear Member,
As many of you are aware, the JCC Board of Directors recently voted to open the JCC on Saturdays and today THE ASSOCIATED Board of Directors has approved this measure.

Our goal in opening the Rosenbloom Owings Mills JCC on Saturdays year-round is to meet the needs of our members in the surrounding neighborhoods. Many of you have told us that you are looking for a place to spend time with friends and family on Saturday afternoons and that you would prefer a Jewish environment. Saturdays will be a special day in many ways. In addition to offering new ideas about how to enhance your Shabbat experience at our Shabbat Stop display, we also hope to offer informal Jewish educational programming through partnerships with area synagogues.

We want to remind you that the Weinberg Park Heights JCC will remain closed on Saturdays.

B’Shalom

Beth Mayers
Chairman of the Board, JCC of Greater Baltimore

Louis “Buddy” Sapolsky
