NWCP Fun Day – 2nd Annual Public Safety Fun Day & Softball Tournament – GUESS WHO WON?

The NWCP Fun Day, with the participation of the Baltimore City Police dept. and the Baltimore City Fire Dept. was a great success, with an amazing turnout. There was a large consistent crowd cheering on both teams as they were playing softball. Unfortunately the NWCP never had a chance against the very much in shape Baltimore City Police Dept. and throughout the game lagged consistently behind. The final score was 25-12 to Baltimore City Police after playing 7 full innings. The weather was great at a balmy 82 degrees. There were 5  different fire trucks on display for the kids to discover as well as a police “hot car”. Hatzalah of Baltimore and CERT were also well represented with booths of their own. The special surprise of the day was getting to see “Fox Trot 3″ right on the field of the Public Safety Training Facility”, one of 4 “Fox Trot” helicopter’s the City of Baltimore owns and operates in order to to more effectively find and address problems. You may recognize them by the bright light shining down at night accompanied by the loud sound of the rotors overhead. Check out our pictures below of this wonderful Sunday afternoon and Thank You to all the people and sponsors who made this special event possible.
