This week, Shomrei Emunah welcomes back Rabbi Gottlieb to Shomrei Emunah. Rabbi Gottlieb has come back specifically to spend time with us and say his goodbyes, if you will, in person. It is an extraordinary sensitivity on the Rabbi’s part to make the effort to travel back to see us. On behalf of the entire Shul, I would like to thank Rabbi Gottlieb for being here. We look forward to hearing his drasha. Rabbi Gottlieb will also deliver a more abbreviated version of his drasha at the 7:00 and 8:15 minyanim. In addition, he will speak at Seuda Shlishis. We wish Rabbi Gottlieb, Ilana and the kids much Hatzlacha in their newest stage, that of long term Yishuv Eretz Yisrael. We are very proud to have been members of his Kehilla for six years. Beth Tfiloh welcomes DR. MELVIN KONNER, author of the critically acclaimed new book The Jewish Body, as our Rabbi Dr. Samuel Rosenblatt Scholar in Residence this Shabbat.
